SNAP payment schedule in Florida through October 12

The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) continues the axiscucion of their regular payments to Florida beneficiaries. By the way, this week's schedule has already been announced. Check if you're eligible for direct deposit.

 

As you know, the SNAP program is vital for millions of families who depend on these financial resources to maintain a healthy diet.

SNAP payments from October 7 to 12

SNAP payments are made between the 1st and 28th of each month. Remittances are based on the ninth and eighth digits of the Florida case number. This week's deposits are as follows.

It's important to remember that the SNAP program is intended to promote healthy eating. Therefore, it only allows you to purchase certain types of foods, such as fruits, vegetables, meats, poultry, and fish. You can also purchase dairy products, breads, cereals, fats, oils, condiments, and spices.

Finally, SNAP has certain restrictions. Some foods are prohibited because they're unhealthy, meaning they don't meet the program's primary objective. Here's the list.

-Alcoholic beverages and tobacco.
-Non-food items: Any product that is not intended for consumption.
-Hygiene items: Soap, shampoo, cosmetics, diapers, etc.
-Pet food.
-Vitamins, medications and supplements.
