The Cuban Ministry of Domestic Trade (MINCIN) revealed that unloading operations for a rice vessel began this weekend at the port of Vita, Holguín.

Rice will automatically be allocated to the basic food basket. In this way, Commerce intends to "reducecuperar” at least several months of delay in the delivery of the vital food for the Cuban table.
The "errands" arrive in Camagüey
The Ministry of National Institute of Statistics (MINCIN) also announced that several products from the so-called ration book are currently being distributed in Camagüey.
For example, the distribution of two pounds of rice for June, seven pounds for July, and the same amount for August and September is pending for the coming weeks.
This week, one pound of sugar will be distributed to each consumer in all municipalities of the province. Additionally, ground beef will be distributed to pregnant women and people on medical diets.
In the case of powdered milk, a bag for the month of October will be sold in all areas. Liquid milk will continue to be sold on every route in the province.
The distribution also includes other products such as cigarettes, yogurt, and tobacco. Finally, laundry soap for children up to three years old will be sold this week.
