The Mexican Embassy in Cuba has recently published the following on its official website release which we share in its entirety with our readers.
The Mexican Embassy informs the public that the system Mexitel will open online appointments EXCLUSIVELY for visa procedures without permission from the National Migration Institute (PROCEDURES WITHOUT NUT) On viernes 13 of September for the weeks between October 01 and 15, 2019, at approximately 9:30 am (local time).
The opening date for visa applications with permission from the National Migration Institute (TRÁMITES CON NUT) and document legalization will be announced soon. This is because the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and this Embassy are currently analyzing options to improve customer service.
An electronic confirmation token was recently implemented, which seeks to strengthen security when scheduling appointments by interested parties. Selecting the day and time of your appointment without entering the confirmation data does not guarantee that your appointment will be scheduled.
It is recommended that you have access to your email before entering the Mexitel portal, since information will be sent to your email to obtain your appointment, which you must validate before completing the process. Likewise, you must ensure that the personal information you enter when registering your appointment is identical to that contained in your passport (full name including accents), otherwise your appointment could be rejected.
Mexitel is making ongoing efforts to meet the high demand for visa applications. To this end, a certain number of appointments are made available to users every two weeks, based on the material and human resources available to the facility. Embassy of Mexico in CubaDue to recent staffing adjustments at this Consular Office, fewer appointments will be available than usual until further notice. We ask for your understanding if you are unable to schedule an appointment at this time.

I am a naturalized Mexican and I am deeply outraged by the corruption surrounding interview appointments at the Mexican embassy in Cuba. Please solve this problem.
Please, it's impossible to make an appointment every time the site opens. I already have a 10-year visa, but I'd like to get one for my husband so we can enjoy so many beautiful and interesting places in your country.
I accessed the site without any problems... but when I tried to make an appointment and fill out the essential fields, I received a 500 error on the server, so I couldn't schedule my appointment. I'm 63 years old and very interested in visiting the country for tourism and to reconnect with my son who lives in the United States.
Every day it becomes more impossible to connect to the page to access appointments. Will it be possible to obtain this without having to pay so much money on the Cuban black market?
Good afternoon. I have been the husband of a Mexican citizen for five years. We have a son born within our marriage. Because I'm a doctor, I was regulated by the Ministry of Public Health. We'd like to know what we should do to finally reunite. Thank you very much.
Hello, I'd like to know if the embassy's website address for making appointments is still the same, since they're talking about a new system called tokens. Is the site still the same?
Many of our Spanish great-grandchildren living in Cuba eagerly await approval of their Spanish citizenship. We hope that the law for Spanish great-grandchildren in Cuba will soon be approved, so we can learn about our roots in Spain.
Hello, I have a 10-year visa for Mexico and I need my husband and children to have a visa to travel with me. Is there no other way?
Hello. My wife and I have a visa to Mexico. The children's visa can be based on family ties or tourism. Thank you.
Very good. I'd like to know if when the website opens on Friday, you'll be offering appointments only for the weeks of October 1st through 15th, because by then the bank account hasn't been opened for three months yet. Thank you.
