Flights to Cuba from Argentina with Andes have resumed. Package prices

Andes Airlines has resumed direct flights between Cuba and Argentina with charter connections to Cayo Largo del Sur starting January 2. Details will be available immediately.

Andes Líneas Aéreas announced the resumption of its holiday charter operations, connecting Buenos Aires with Cayo Largo del Sur (CYO) in Ciego de Ávila, Cuba, for the 2024/25 southern hemisphere summer season. These flights, in collaboration with the travel agency Multitravel, mark the return of a key route for regional tourism.

Before the pandemic, Andes stood out for its charter flights to Caribbean destinations such as Varadero, Cayo Largo, La Romana, and more. Although it won't be the only airline offering charter flights this summer, Andes is regaining its position with a solid offering to these Cuban keys, according to report from Aviaciónline.

Details of the flight schedule between Argentina and Cuba with Andes

Between January and mid-March 2024, Andes will operate 12 flights to Cayo Largo del Sur using Boeing 737-800 aircraft, with capacity for 189 passengers. The airline will offer a total of 2.079 seats this season, with scheduled weekly flights from Buenos Aires/Ezeiza.

The itinerary includes a stopover in Iquitos (IQT), Peru, ensuring a comfortable journey for passengers. The flights will depart Ezeiza at 23:00 PM, arriving in Cayo Largo at 07:35 AM (+1), while the return flight is scheduled for 10:00 AM, arriving in Buenos Aires at 19:55 PM.

The reactivation of this route has a significant impact, since Cubana de Aviación stopped operating in April 2024 due to problems with the fuel supply, and Aerolíneas Argentinas suspended previously their flights for economic reasons.

Now, Andes reestablishes the connection between Argentina and Cuba, offering Vacation packages from USD 1.600 per person, depending on the hotel category, marketed by Havanatur and Multitravel.

With a fleet of two Boeing 737-800s and experience in charter flights to Bariloche and other destinations, Andes strengthens its commitment to international tourism, establishing itself as a key option for travelers looking to enjoy the Caribbean this holiday season.
