It also provided details on ticket sales at its offices in these Cuban provinces. Cubana de Aviación reported on its channel Telegram They informed all their customers that there are specific regulations regarding baggage allowance on their domestic flights. These rules are essential to ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers during their trip, they added.
As to hand luggageThey said one piece of luggage per passenger is allowed, with a maximum weight of 5 kilograms. The bag's dimensions must not exceed 115 linear centimeters, totaling height, width, and length.
Respect al checked baggage, each passenger can carry one piece with a maximum weight of 23 kilograms. The authorized dimensions for this baggage must not exceed 158 linear centimeters. Any bag exceeding these measurements may be rejected or subject to additional charges, depending on the case.
It is important to note that, from the second piece of luggage, is considered excess baggage.
Acceptance of this excess weight is subject to space availability on the aircraft, and a fee per additional kilogram will apply, as established for each domestic route.
Details about baggage on Cubana de Aviación domestic flights
In case the accepted piece exceeds 23 kg but does not exceed 30 kg, an excess weight surcharge will apply. However, if the baggage weighs more than 30 kg or has irregular dimensions, must be managed through the service of air cargo, following current regulations.
